"Moral truth is there" seems like a very strong assertion. Comparing moral reality to mathematical reality seems beyond bizarre.

Perhaps, but I don’t see any other way around it. There is definitely a base moral layer to reality that seems unavoidable to me.
The exact semantics vary, but that doesn’t negate the reality of that layer.
